Position Overview

Calling all Creators, Builders, and Inventors!

The Stanley Brand Creative team is seeking a creative Graphic Design Intern to design a wide range of digital and print communications that inspire consumers to create a more sustainable and less disposable life and world, while supporting Stanley’s integrity, performance, and innovation promise. The Stanley Creative Team works closely with all functions within the Stanley brand, including marketing, product design, sales, and ecommerce.

  • Hybrid role (in office 2+ days a week)
  • Duration of the internship will go from June 3 - through August 23 or June 17 through September 6, depending on school schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Design visual communications for a variety of digital and print media, including email campaigns, website content, social media content, digital advertising, marketing collateral, catalogs, trade materials, sales presentations, packaging, and retail signage
  • Ensure all work is aligned with Stanley brand standards and industry best practices
  • Participate in weekly creative team check-in meeting to discuss status of current projects
  • Work with designers to create engaging and timely content for a variety of platforms
  • Manage multiple projects on varying timelines while communicating project status to managers, teammates, and stakeholders.
  • Tap into design and industry trends and share research and inspiration with the greater team

Who You Are

  • Visual design skills with a keen eye for typography, and knowledge of fundamental design principals
  • Highly motivated and collaborative – taking ownership of projects and at the same time, being objective and responsive to feedback
  • Self-motivated, able to take initiative with the ability to work independently when needed
  • Creative, collaborative, and confident
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud – Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint and Excel

Education and Experience

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with relevant design experience 
  • Junior, Senior, or Grad students
  • Able to showcase a website portfolio of your current work.

Salary

$25 hourly

The base pay for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.
